Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key element to maximize the power of your gear. It allows you to add additional bonus stats on top of your base level item's value.
Each upgrade template comes with set options that can be set up via the GUI. These options include upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.
Upgrade components
The process for upgrading weapons, armor and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 has been reworked as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you want to upgrade must also have an upgrade slot.
