World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enhancements.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They can be purchased from the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.

When an item is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional benefits. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, or gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. Once a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be upgraded with a different one but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item the item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that improves certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
When the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to boost certain stats or add bonuses and effects. All of these upgrades can be applied at once and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. upgrade item is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which are extremely effective in boosting the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. Most of the time the armor will be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This is the case for most types of armor, however certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades offer a small increase to the item's defense or strength. Some upgrades, however, could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is particularly relevant when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades offer specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, such as providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also offer passive effects, for instance reducing the amount of damage taken while wearing armor or granting the ability to deflect attacks.
Upgrades to armor could require multiple attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77, and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations has a powerful fair who can improve a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not useless. Some armors offer a significant boost to the reduction of the damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different tier of potion effects, and can be re-used to increase the potency.
The potions also gain a custom color, which can be selected by the player using /give. This color will affect the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, a common thick and awkward potions now have a new brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness have been added. Trinket
A trinket could be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a small flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also be a gilded trinket that is connected to the mast of a vessel.

This trinket, at its current level makes all types Xx of mimics more common and gives every floor an probability of Y% that it will contain an ebony replica. Upgrades to this trinket require a moderate amount energy.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to be affecting the dungeon itself, making it more likely to produce water and grass. This trinket at the moment will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It does not affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor or other items that are created to aid in the elimination of the dangers in rooms.
While it appears like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mysterious item appears to affect your vision in ways that go beyond simply reducing your field of view. You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a small amount.
